RIMFROST: Global krill demand increases, plans new vessel.

Norwegian krill manufacturer RIMFROST notes that the global demand for krill oil for human consumption increases, and begins the planning of a new vessel. “After several challenging years, the global krill market is now showing real signs of recovery”, owner of RIMFROST, Stig Remøy, says.

Rimfrost and Møreforskning, both located in Ålesund, Norway, collaborates in an ambitious 13 mill Euro multiparter EU Horizon Europe project aiming to make Europeans diets more sustainable and healthier.
This ultra-modern vessel is built to a Kongsberg design and will be completed at the Westcon yard in Norway. The Hull is made at Tersan Shipyard in Turkey.
